Hey all! Time for another Settlers meetup...since our favorite place in JP closes at 8 on Thursdays, let's try my place. Address is included; I'm near Bus 1 and the Silver Line (Washington St.) I'll send directions to those who RSVP. Looking forward to seeing you all! Since people were out for July 4th weekend last time, let's try it again. My place this Saturday, 3 PM, play whatever people bring until we tire out. Certainly, Settlers & Killer Bunnies will be among the offerings :-). If you can bring a drink and/or snack, that'd be great. Hope to see many of you!

What better way to celebrate the day after America's independence day than with some German games :-)? Seriously, we'll get together at my place at 3 PM (on Saturday) and play whatever people want to play...Settlers, Killer Bunnies, whatever else people want to play. So for those without other plans for this weekend, I hope you can make it!

Friday the 13th...what better day to play Settlers? If you're normally unlucky at this game, it could be your day! If you are lucky, well then you don't believe in Friday the 13th, so you should come play as well! We'll meet at the usual spot and play either regular Settlers, Cities & Knights, or whatever else people bring along. Afterwards, we've been known to continue the game-playing fun elsewhere if people are up for it.

It's been months since I've played any good strategy games or seen any of you guys. So come play some games this Saturday! We'll start earlier than usual (4pm) and stay until we get tired. Feel free to come when you can, but you might want to call my cell phone and let us know you're on your way (so we can wait for you to arrive before we start any new games). A few of the board games that'll be available are
- Settlers of Catan (with various expansions)
- Last night on earth (zombie role playing game)
- Pillars of the Earth
- Risk
- Metro
- Carcassonne
- various other non-strategy games (but who'd want to play those?) Please bring any other games you think the group would enjoy. We'll probably order pizza for dinner (bring a few dollars), but bring stacks and drinks to share. For anyone riding the T, be sure to catch a BRAINTREE train on the red line. I'm about a 5 minute walk from the North Quincy station. Feel free to call or email if you have any questions. -Taylor

I'm hosting a night of games and fun at my place in Hyde Park. I have a shelf of games to choose from, but feel free to bring your own as well. I figure I have space for about 10 people. Snacks and drinks will be available, and if it's convenient for you to bring some more to share, I'd appreciate it! Street parking is easy in my neighborhood. It's not too far from the Hyde Park Commuter Rail station or the Forest Hills Orange Line station, if you need someone to pick you up.
