About The Oahu Board Gamers

This group is setup to bring interested board gamers together for a few hours of gaming. We are trying to establish a regular schedule that will allow people to plan for the time and also to get enough people together to make it worth while.

There are also impromtu times and locations for playing specific games or open gaming.

We have been welcoming a number of new people over the past two months. As a growing group and with many different preferences for games, it looks like we can start asking other people for ideas to increase our opportunities for these get togethers.

Everyone is welcome to organize meetups. These can be held anywhere. There can be one time sessions or any frequency you desire. We have two people that are trying to do this. Mark would like to host a monthly game of Civilization at AMR. Steve would like to host GMT games on the off weeks of Ray's meetups. Talk to these people and encourage them with your participation. If you have ideas yourself, talk it up, we can set you up with Assistant Organizer on this web site for advertisements!

Bringing your own games to meetups is encouraged!

We play almost any game. From the long duration simulations/strategy gems to the lighter family oriented games. As the group is small, we adapt as we need to.
