I have started this group for adults and young adults on the Autistic spectrum who are interested in video games and tabletop games (D&D, Magic, Catan, etc.) to get together. There are other groups in the metro area for people on the spectrum to socialize, but this group will focus on gaming. If you have autism, asperger's or any other related condition, and you are looking to meet other gamers on the spectrum, then this group is for you.
I started this group because I wanted to play boardgames on Wednesday nights in SE Portland. Since you don't need to RSVP, the number of players on a given night will vary. It's more of a free-form, do-what-you-want event than a reservation-style one. Don't be fooled by our classiness! We play it all; Euros, casual games, classic games, etc. Bring some games, have fun and say hi to each other!
